Darren Speed, MS, CHC is the founder of HIPPO MT and a healthcare compliance professional with over 15 years of executive-level experience across some of the nation's most complex healthcare organizations.

Before founding HIPPO MT, Darren served as Chief Compliance Officer at Akumin — a $600 million diagnostic imaging company operating in 150+ locations — where he built and led a comprehensive compliance program at scale. Prior to that, he served as Director of Corporate Compliance at Cantex, a multi-service healthcare organization spanning skilled nursing facilities, hospice, home health, and pharmaceutical services.

That depth of experience across radiology, post-acute care, hospice, home health, and pharmaceuticals gives HIPPO MT a perspective that most compliance consultants simply can't offer — an understanding of how compliance works (and breaks down) in the real world, not just on paper.

Darren holds a Master of Science degree and the Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) credential, the gold standard certification in the healthcare compliance profession.
